Chaplain Requirements

At a minimum, chaplain candidates must pass a criminal background check, the interview process, academy/training and ride-along requirements, and mentorship requirements before seeking final board approval.

Additionally, chaplains have ongoing continuing education and incident-response requirements that must be met.
